Policies


Sirena Bay Estate is a sanctuary of luxury and relaxation, and our policies are designed to enhance your stay, ensuring a worry-free and indulgent experience for your whole party.


For bookings with ease

  • The minimum length of stay is five nights: Allowing you to make the most of your island vacation. 
  • 7% local taxes added to all prices: Transparent pricing for a seamless experience.


Cancellation Policy

  • Deposit and payment terms: Flexible and convenient reservation process.
    A fair and flexible cancellation policy to allow for unexpected changes.
  • > 120 days before arrival:100% refund 
  • 60-120 days before arrival: 50% refund 
  • < 60 days before arrival: 0% refund 
  • Check-in after 4 pm
  • Check-out before 11 am


Guest Policy

  • The estate may only be occupied by the guests confirmed and paid for in your reservation.
  • Please provide a full guest list as soon as possible, at the latest 6 weeks before arrival.
  • All staying guests are kindly asked to present their passport for a copy at check-in.
  • For a smooth check-in, you can also check-in online before your arrival. You can find your personalized check-in link in your reservation confirmation that you received in your email.
  • External guests can only be invited during the day upon prior consultation and with approval of our manager. If the manager approves, a fee of USD 50 per extra guest applies for using our facilities during the day. This fee is for day guests, not for overnight stays!
  • Please consult in a timely manner, because if the manager is not on location and has not yet given permission, inviting external guests is not permitted.
  • Gatherings of more than 20 people are always considered an event, and special rates and terms apply. See also the "Event" section later in this document.


Security & Privacy

  • Please ensure the estate gates remain closed at all times for safety and privacy
  • Please close all doors and windows when leaving the property.
  • The gate remote is intended for use when departing by car only.
  • Smoking is not permitted inside any of the accommodations. Smoking is permitted outside as long as you use an ashtray.
  • The use of drugs is strictly prohibited. In case of violation, we are required to notify the authorities and your stay will end immediately.
  • For safety reasons, our staff may perform a brief visual inspection at any time during the day or evening.


Care for the Estate

  • The estate will be spotless upon arrival; please leave it in good order and report any damage or issues as soon as they arise.
  • Daily housekeeping takes place before 12:00 in the morning.
  • For safety reasons and for proper cleaning, kindly unpack luggage and store suitcases upright or in closets.
  • For hygiene reasons, please keep the kitchen, rooms, and outdoor areas clean. No food may be left behind in rooms, the kitchen, or on outdoor tables. Please be aware that Curaçao’s tropical climate naturally attracts insects and other vermin.
  • Bed linens will be refreshed every 5 days. An extra linen change can be requested for an additional fee.
  • Guest room towels are refreshed every 3 days.
  • Pool towels will be provided every 3 days. They may be kept in your room or hung to dry outside. On request we can provide extra pool towels for USD 5 per day/per towel.
  • All towels are intended for on-property use only.

·       Towels for use outside the estate can be rented for USD 5 per day/per towel.


Furniture & Interior

  • Guests are not permitted to move any furniture under any circumstances. Some items are antique and delicate and can easily be damaged. If you feel it is necessary to move something, please discuss this with our manager.
  • Estate items may never be removed from the property.


Neighborhood Respect

  • Please respect our neighbors and avoid loud music or disturbance, especially after 11:00 PM.


Parking

  • Two parking spaces for regular cars/SUVs are available on the property.
  • Additional cars or minivans may be parked directly outside the gate along the street.


Valuables & Liability

  • Please store valuables such as passports, bank cards, credit cards, jewelry and cash in your room safe.
  • The estate is not liable for loss, theft, or fraud.


External Services & Events

  • We collaborate with trusted partners who share our commitment to quality, safety and discretion. Only these preferred partners may offer services on the estate.
  • Events are only allowed after consultation and approval at the time of your booking. Additional conditions and fees apply.
  • Any gathering with extra guests, decoration, entertainment or photographers, etc. – will be classified as an event.
  • No decorations or materials may be attached in a way that could cause damage to walls, woodwork, the pool area, trees, the beach, etc.


Additional Safety & Estate Rules


Pool use

  • Swimming is at your own risk.
  • Children must be supervised at all times.
  • No glassware is allowed in the pool area. Plastic glasses are available in the kitchen.
  • No diving from pool edges or furniture.


Safety

  • The ocean in front of the estate is accessible by swimming stairs for advanced swimmers, at your own risk.
  • Only for snorkeling, diving is not permitted
  • In the information folder in your room you will find everything in case of emergencies, such as telephone numbers, escape routes, etc. Please read this very carefully.

 

Energy & Water Use

Curaçao’s resources are precious and limited. We kindly ask you to:

  • Use water and electricity responsibly.
  • Turn off lights, fans, and electronics when not in use.
  • Please keep doors and glass windows closed while the air conditioning is on.
  • Turn off the A/C when leaving your room. Your room will be cool again quickly upon your return. (This protects the system and helps reduce unnecessary island energy use.)


Pets

  • Pets and other animals are not permitted on the property.


Payments

  • First payment of 50% of the total reservation amount is due directly upon reservation.
  • Second payment of 50% is due 60 days before arrival.
  • Additional service you select will be confirmed and invoiced 60 days before arrival.
  • Additional services consumed during your stay will be settled on the day of departure.
  • A 5% bank surcharge applies to card payments made on-site. Cash payment avoids this fee.
  • Upon arrival a deposit of $ 500 will be reserved on your credit card. This provides for damage to and loss of assets of Sirena Bay Estate. This will be automatically released after 14 days if no damage has occurred.
